Jumbo is Sure to Remember
JUMBO, ONE OF THE ELEPHANTS FROM BULLEN BROTHERS' CIRCUS, will never forget the situation in which the photographer found him yesterday. Two other circus elephants, Topsy and Jenny, had swum the Yarra in Como Park to reach Herring Island, but refused to come back. Sent after them, Jumbo found himself bogged and needed all the help he could get from Mr. Jules Bullen to get out. Topsy and Jenny found their own way home.
